The annual Alumni Day of Service is designed to provide opportunities for Dartmouth alumni, friends, and family to give back to their local communities while strengthening ties with fellow members of the Dartmouth community.
The Alumni Day of Service helps to further Dartmouth’s longstanding tradition of community service through organizations such as the Dartmouth Center for Service and Dartmouth Partners for Community Service, as well as the many alumni organizations already providing meaningful opportunities in their areas.
Hundreds of alumni participated in the 2018 Alumni Day of Service, held May 5, through a variety of service projects 'round the girdled earth. View photos from this year’s event.

Dartmouth Club of Pioneer Valley
*Please note this event takes place May 20*
For our 3rd Dartmouth Alumni Day of Service the Dartmouth Club of Pioneer Valley will be helping Whole Children, a Hadley-based non-profit co-founded in 2004 by Mary Cleary Kiely '79. Whole Children provides recreational, social, and enrichment programs for children and teens of all abilities, designed especially for those with special needs.
Please join other DCPV alums, their families, and friends in volunteering at Whole Children’s most important annual fund-raiser, their 4th Wild Goose Chase, an inclusive family fun day at Look Park in Florence. The park will hoppin’ with a 5K run, a bunch of kids’ races, horse drawn wagon rides, food trucks, a carnival tent with face painting and games, and Whole Children's band! We’ll be working to help sign in volunteers, as race course monitors, game organizers, and more. Want to run and perhaps fundraise for Whole Chldren? Absolutely! Kids 12+ are encouraged to join us.
Volunteers meet at 9AM on May 20th at Look Park with members of the Whole Children staff to receive assignments and get questions answered. For any details between now and then, please contact Peter Dupret ’65 at firstname.lastname@example.org.

We will partner with One Drop for Life Inc. and City Park Department on May 19 help plant flowers along Market Street and Tucker Boulevard. This is our chance to show St. Louis pride and be part of this year’s efforts to make downtown St. Louis a more beautiful and vibrant destination for our kids and families! Flowers, plants, gloves and all tools will be provided at the site, and children are welcome.
