Your class tent is the hub for all things Reunion, but other venues around campus can be used for your class-planned activities, whether you’re looking for an auditorium or classroom for a panel or a lovely spot outdoors for a barbecue. Once you have decided on class-planned activities, the Volunteer Engagement team will help select the venue for the event, and let you know the venue’s capacity, audiovisual and power capabilities, catering requirements, and other helpful information

All audiovisual and power needs are serviced by Dartmouth Facilities and Operations Management or by Classroom Technology Services. No outside vendors may provide audiovisual or power services unless Dartmouth is unable to fulfill the request. This equipment cannot be left outside overnight and is set up on an event-by-event basis to prevent damage and theft. The class is responsible for any fees incurred for damaged or stolen equipment.

Class Tents

Your class tent is the hub of activity for Reunion, and comes with a dance floor for those late-night parties.

Each tent is equipped with a 20-amp outlet (a basic circuit with two outlets) that powers basic lighting and sound system. Depending on your tent location, you may need additional power for special lighting or a sound system from your band or DJ. Dartmouth also offers several enhancements for the tent and can provide most everything you need and will have it in place at the desired time. Just outline your specifications in as much detail as possible to the Volunteer Engagement team and they will let you know what is possible.

The Class Reunion Committee should provide linens, flowers, and games for the tent, and you can work with the Volunteer Engagement team to ensure that all deliveries of such items are scheduled properly. Please note, candles and pong are not permitted in the class tents.
