The Dartmouth College Alumni Council has voted to designate one candidate to seek nomination for each of three vacant alumni-nominated trustee seats. The proposed resolution was presented to the eligible alumni councilors for an email vote. The vote was completed in September. The resolution was approved with 81 councilors voting in favor of the resolution and six opposed.
The Association of Alumni constitution stipulates in Article V, Section 3, that the council, after being notified by the Dartmouth College Board of Trustees that an alumni-nominated trustee vacancy exists, must "select no more than (2) candidates for nomination for each such vacancy."
