With a Black woman as the Democratic Presidential candidate, gender and race are once again at the forefront of political debate. Join us for our Homecoming Back to Class talk with Anna Mahoney, Executive Director of the Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences at Dartmouth. She will explore how women have participated in U.S. politics in the past and what this tells us about the women participating today. Do gender and race matter in elections and policymaking? How are gender and race playing a role in this year's election? What can we expect from women voters this fall?
The talk will take place on Saturday, November 2 at 10:00 am in the Loew Auditorium at the Black Family Visual Arts Center. Refreshments will be served.
