Advancement Division
Meet the team dedicated to strengthening your ties to our students, our faculty, and the entire Dartmouth community.
What is Advancement?
Dartmouth’s Advancement Division—made up of the offices of Alumni Relations and Development—presents the university’s strengths to the world and continually seeks meaningful ways for alumni, parents, and friends to help Dartmouth fulfill its mission through their expertise, life experience, and philanthropy.
Alumni Relations
The Office of Alumni Relations serves a close-knit community of nearly 84,000 alumni, as well as families and friends, who generously devote their time and talent to the institution. The office provides meaningful engagement opportunities for all members of the Dartmouth community to be involved with the institution and connected to each other.
Development
The Development Office seeks to maximize gifts to support Dartmouth by matching donors’ passions with institutional needs and priorities. Working closely with hundreds of volunteers and the university’s leadership, the office raises essential funds for immediate use while also building an ever-stronger financial foundation for future generations.
