Day 1: Depart U.S. for Johannesburg, South Africa

• Fly overnight to Johannesburg to begin your African adventure

Day 2: Arrive in Johannesburg

• Arrive and transfer to a hotel in Rosebank with early check-in
• No scheduled activities to accommodate varied arrival times

Day 3: Johannesburg / Soweto

• Tour Soweto district including Mandela’s home and Hector Pieterson Museum
• Hear a firsthand account from a Sowetan present during the 1976 uprising
• Enjoy a welcome dinner with fellow travelers

Day 4: Johannesburg / Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

• Fly to Victoria Falls and settle into your lodge
• Visit the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls in the afternoon

Day 5: Victoria Falls

• Morning game drive to spot the rare black rhino
• “Sundowner” dinner cruise on the Zambezi River

Day 6: Victoria Falls

• Visit a local village and explore Victoria Falls town
• Evening lecture on “The Story of David Livingstone,” followed by dinner

Day 7: Victoria Falls / Chobe National Park, Botswana

• Visit a local school, then transfer to Chobe National Park
• Afternoon boat safari to see hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife

Day 8: Chobe National Park

• Early morning game drive and afternoon boat safari
• Watch for elephants, lions, giraffes, and Chobe’s famous sunsets

Day 9: Chobe National Park

• Full day of game drives with leisure time at the lodge

Day 10: Chobe / South Luangwa National Park, Zambia

• Fly to South Luangwa, one of Africa’s most untouched wilderness areas
• Afternoon game-viewing activities including walking safaris

Day 11: South Luangwa National Park

• Morning and evening safaris from your lodge inside the park
• Visit a local school and water borehole project

Day 12: South Luangwa National Park

• Another day of immersive safari experiences from your lodge
• Farewell dinner overlooking lagoons frequented by wildlife

Day 13: South Luangwa / Lusaka / Depart for U.S.

• Fly to Lusaka by light aircraft
• Day rooms provided before your overnight flight home

Day 14: Arrive in U.S
