Dartmouth pairs hands-on learning with the resources of a major research institution. Our students learn by doing, in labs, libraries, and classrooms.

Dartmouth has a 7:1 student-faculty ratio, giving our students ready access to world-class scholar-mentors.

Provide our students with life-changing experiences, on and off campus

Dartmouth leads the Ivies in faculty-led study abroad programs. And, notably, 80 percent of our students take part in internships in organizations around the world.

Scholar Program

When you give $50,000 or more to the Parents and Grandparents Fund Scholar Program, a member of the junior or senior class will receive a scholarship for one year in your name. Your philanthropy has an immediate, lifelong impact on a Dartmouth student.

Meeting Your Scholar

In appreciation of your generosity, the Scholar Program aims to deepen your understanding of the impact you have on Dartmouth through your investment in financial aid. You will be paired with a current student who receives aid, and receive details about their background and interests, along with their contact information. We hope you can connect and correspond over the year.

You will also receive periodic updates featuring student stories and other noteworthy updates from the Office of Financial Aid and our Recognition and Stewardship department. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in an online stakeholders’ event, where you can engage with Dartmouth’s leadership firsthand.
