Dartmouth Book Club: Author Talk with Peter Heller ’82
Join us for a virtual Author Talk with Peter Heller ’82, discussing his novel The River.
From the best-selling author of The Dog Stars, The River vividly captures the experience of what it takes to survive in the wilderness. It is the story of two college friends who decide to canoe the Maskwa River in northern Canada and have their friendship tested by fire, white water, and violence.
The event includes a discussion with book author Peter Heller ’82 followed by questions and answers with the audience. Registrants can submit questions during registration, or they can ask questions at the event.
Following the Author talk, join us on our Dartmouth Book Club platform to continue exploring The River with weekly discussion topics as part of our online book club community. We’ll wrap up the reading period with a Zoom discussion on Wednesday, June 4 at 12 p.m. ET. The Author Talk and Discussion Group events are hosted by the Dartmouth Book Club.
