Young Alumni Cuba: Art, Culture & History
A Young Alumni Program in Support of the Cuban People

While Cuba remains a mystery to most Americans, this in-depth program explores the island from the perspectives of its residents, from artists and cultural leaders to small business owners. Meet with a local historian for a discussion on Havana's architectural evolution over centuries, and wander through the UNESCO-listed streets of Old Havana with its four grand plazas. Gain a behind-the-scenes look at local art at the multilevel Fábrica de Arte Cubano, a gallery and performance space housed in a former factory. Hear the stories of Cuban entrepreneurs at privately owned businesses like Dador, a female-founded fashion brand. Dine with emerging artists supported by the Ludwig Foundation, an independent arts organization, where its president will join you for a special rooftop reception and dinner.
