Sunny skies bookended the first of two week-long Reunion celebrations taking place in June and July 2025. More than 2,500 alumni, friends and family members made the trip to Hanover to reconnect and delight in friendships old and new.
As per tradition, the 50th reunion class, the Class of 1975, opened the festivities and joined the Class of 2025 in Commencement exercises. The 75's enjoyed an intimate lunch with the soon-to-be alums and a live concert featuring singer-songwriter (and brother of James Taylor) Livingston Taylor.

A little rain did not stop the Classes of 1965 and 1970 from enjoying their mid-week reunion. President Sian Leah Beilock opened the week addressing both classes.
Attendees took cover from the rain at an insightful Back To Class session featuring Dr. Nicholas Jacobson, assistant professor in the departments of Biomedical Data Science and Psychiatry, who presented on the future of student well-being at Dartmouth. The session included a sneak preview of Evergreen, a personalized digital wellness ecosystem for Dartmouth students, as well as a look at the findings from Dr. Jacobson’s prior work with Therabot, a generative AI-powered psychotherapy chatbot.
The weekend brought bustling class tents and lots of smiling faces as the classes of 1979, 1980, 1981, 1995, and 2000 arrived on campus.
DGALA and Women of Dartmouth hosted breakfast gatherings to greet one another before coming together to celebrate all affinity groups (The Black Alumni of Dartmouth Association, Dartmouth Asian Pacific American Alumni Association, Dartmouth Association of Latino Alumni, Dartmouth Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Alumni/ae Association, Native American Alumni Association of Dartmouth, and Women of Dartmouth) at a special reception.

President Beilock addressed an enthusiastic group of alumni in a packed session that quickly poured into overflow rooms.
By mid-afternoon the Green was picture-perfect as Dartmouth hosted its second annual Community Lunch on the Green, welcoming Reunions attendees, staff, and local members of the community for a tasty barbecue, ice cream, and family fun.
Classes then shared the afternoon together hosting everything from an intimate speaker series to cross-campus scavenger hunts. Spectacular dinner views awaited as classes headed to their evening receptions on Baker Lawn and among the peaceful pines at the Bema.
The entire Dartmouth community came together once again after dark to close out the weekend with dancing, glow sticks, and sweet treats on the Green. Fireworks illuminated the sky as alumni, families, and friends joined arm-in-arm to sing the alma mater one more time.
Dartmouth will welcome the Classes of 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2020 to Hanover from July 25-27. Registration is still open for all five classes. Click here for registration information and schedules.
DGALA will also celebrate its 40th Anniversary during the same weekend, commemorating four decades of advocacy and the ongoing efforts to support LGBTQIA+ alumni and students. Be sure to visit dgala.org for and last-minute registration details and a weekend schedule.
