Dartmouth’s Advancement division has announced the launch of alumni.dartmouth.edu, a new website that brings together Alumni Relations, the Dartmouth College Fund, travel, lifelong learning, career resources, news, and more. The new site offers myriad ways to connect with more than 80,000 alumni, parents, families, and friends.

The new Dartmouth Alumni & Families website folds more than 15 existing sites into an all-in-one-place destination that features a more streamlined user experience that puts key tasks one or two clicks away and allows for easy searching and filtering to find the stories, news, videos, podcasts, or giving opportunities of interest.

A project of this magnitude required painstaking attention to detail. A content and technical audit of every Advancement web property—more than 5,000 pages—was conducted, peer school sites were reviewed, and a proposed site map was created and tested by more than 500 Dartmouth alumni, families, and community members.

“The new Alumni Relations website offers a consistent presentation that provides up-to-date information, an enhanced use of visuals, and improved features to serve all alumni, families, and friends in the Dartmouth community,” says Chief Advancement Officer Ann Root Keith. “It is a product of thoughtful collaboration across the entire division and positions us for excellence in our future Advancement efforts.”

The new site, built with the latest technology to meet user experience, mobile, and accessibility standards, incorporates more than 1,000 unique elements, nearly 300 person profiles, and eight custom-designed search filters to help users find information and explore content.
