The Dartmouth Asian Pacific American Alumni Association (DAPAAA) and Dartmouth College are celebrating this milestone anniversary with a yearlong series of virtual and on-campus events to honor and uplift DAPAAA members and supporters, culminating with an on-campus reunion May 3-5, 2024.

Friday, May 3, 2024

5:30-7:30pm – Welcome Reception
Hosted in partnership with the Hood Museum, meet fellow alums, and take private tours in the Bernstein Center for Object Study with Deputy Director Alexander Bortolot and the inaugural Jane and Raphael Bernstein Associate Curator of East Asian Art Haely Chang.

Join Helen Zia, activist and award-winning author, will open with a plenary on the AANHPI movement and history.

An exclusive fireside chat featuring Montgomery Fellow George Takei and discussant Helen Zia.

Meet with and hear from AANHPI alumni leaders making impact throughout Dartmouth

12:45-2pm – Connect over Lunch
Find a nostalgic spot (the Green!) or discover a new one (Pine Park!) around campus and enjoy a boxed lunch with new and old friends

2-3:15pm – Allyship & Empowerment
A discussion on solidarity, intersectionality, and the future of community building.

3:30pm – Connection Rounds
Meet up with classmates from different schools and interests areas for informal connection and networking/

6-9pm – DAPAAA at 25 Celebratory Dinner
Dinner at the Hanover Inn to celebrate the achievements of the Dartmouth AANHPI community.

A workshop on identity, mental health, and wellbeing led by Dartmouth's first Pan-Asian student advisor, Nora Yasumura.
