The Dartmouth College Alumni Council has voted to designate one candidate to seek nomination for a vacant alumni-nominated trustee seat. The proposed resolution was presented to the eligible alumni councilors for an email vote. The vote was completed in September. The resolution was approved with 71 councilors voting in favor of the resolution, three opposed, and one abstention.
The Association of Alumni constitution stipulates in Article V, Section 3 that the council, after being notified by the Dartmouth College Board of Trustees that an alumni-nominated trustee vacancy exists, must "select no more than (2) candidates for nomination for each such vacancy."
