Committee
After introductions, Beth Krakower ’93, chair of the Young Alumni Distinguished Service Awards Committee, reviewed the criteria for the award and reminded everyone to send her nominations at bethkrakower@me.com.
The committee is currently working on two main initiatives. The first is a handbook for graduating seniors that contains practical advice for life after college, which should be ready to distribute to the Class of 2013. The second effort is young alumni retention, with a focus on increased promotion of the Dartmouth Career Network, alumni mentorship pairings, and young alumni attendance at large Dartmouth weekends.
The next vice-chair of the committee will be Caroline Kerr ’05. Amanda Brown ’07 will be the next chair.
