Event Itinerary

Day 1: Depart for Zürich, Switzerland

  • Depart your gateway city for Zürich (ZRH), Switzerland

Day 2: Zürich | St. Moritz

  • Arrive in Zürich and transfer to Schweizerhof St. Moritz Hotel
  • Enjoy a Welcome Reception with fellow travelers

Day 3: St. Moritz

  • Morning enrichment: "Essential Switzerland"
  • Walking tour of St. Moritz, with alpine views and Olympic history
  • Afternoon at leisure for exploring, hiking, or spa time

Day 4: St. Moritz

  • Full day at leisure for hiking or relaxation
  • Evening enrichment: “Meet the People” – local insights into alpine life
  • Enjoy a traditional Swiss group dinner

Day 5: Bernina Express | Tirano, Italy | Zuoz | St. Moritz

  • Scenic ride on the Bernina Express to Tirano, Italy
  • Enjoy lunch and a walking tour in romantic Zuoz

Day 6: Lake Como | Bellagio | Stresa, Italy

  • Drive over Maloja Pass with alpine vistas en route to Lake Como
  • Cruise from Tremezzo to Bellagio and enjoy lunch

Day 7: Borromean Islands (Lake Maggiore)

Anna Minardi GR ’10

MALS Senior Lecturer

Anna Minardi is a senior lecturer in the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies (MALS) program at Dartmouth. She holds a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Università degli Studi di Parma, Italy, and a MALS degree from Dartmouth focused on cultural studies and creative writing. She has taught at Dartmouth since 2001, starting in the French and Italian department, where she served as language course coordinator while teaching Italian at all levels for 14 years. In 2014 she joined the MALS program to teach a course on methodology as it pertains to the writing process, and in 2020 she started teaching an interdisciplinary creative writing course entitled “Writing Nature”.
