In Pursuit of Excellence

Dartmouth College Recognizes with Deep Appreciation the Extraordinary Achievements of the

CLASS OF 1954

2016 Class of the Year – Honorable Mention
25 Years Out or Older

The Class of 1954 sets the bar high each year and 2016 was no exception.

For the seventh time in eight years, the Class achieved the highest participation rate — 82 percent — in the Dartmouth College Fund. They surpassed their goal of $275,000 and set a new record for classes 62 years out, and also reached participation over 80 percent for the third year in a row.

And its success did not stop there. While the College encourages classes to direct 25 percent of dues funds raised in support of class projects, the Class of 1954 directed more than 60 percent of their dues income toward four interns and an athletic sponsorship.

We honor the Class of 1954 for demonstrating to all classes the success that can be achieved when a class is all in for Dartmouth.
