On-Campus Housing

You must register for Reunion before signing up for dorm housing!

On-campus housing is $70 per night, per person. Housing priority is granted to applications submitted during the Reunion Early Bird Registration period.

Early Bird Registration Dates:

  • June Classes: March 3–April 6, 2026
  • July Classes: March 3–May 18, 2026

Applications received after the applicable Early Bird deadline will automatically be placed on a waitlist and assigned housing based on the date and time the application was received. Additionally, all applications received after the priority deadline will incur a $10 late fee

NOTE: Submission of a housing application by the Early Bird deadline DOES NOT guarantee a housing assignment. ALL HOUSING IS SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY.

Housing confirmations will be sent in mid-April for June Reunions and mid-May for July Reunions. Specific room assignments will be shared approximately two weeks before Reunion.

Dartmouth residence halls offer a variety of room types, including multi-bedroom units. While we do our best to accommodate requests for adjoining rooms, availability is limited. Be sure to include the names, ages, and relationships of your party members when filling out the housing application to help us determine the best arrangement.

While staying in an undergraduate residence hall offers a nostalgic college experience, these spaces do not provide hotel-style amenities. Rooms include single (twin) beds, linens, a blanket, pillow, towels, a cup, and a bar of soap. Additionally:

  • Daily housekeeping is not provided.
  • Most rooms do not have private baths.
  • Not all dorms have AC, and summers in Hanover can be warm—plan accordingly.

Accessibility: Several buildings have accessible first-floor rooms, and some have elevator access. Service animals are welcome, and accessible accommodations can be requested in the Personal Requests section of the housing application.

Due to high demand, early check-ins and late departures cannot be accommodated. If you need extra nights in the area, you will need to arrange alternative housing.

For the best chance at securing on-campus housing, register early and complete your housing application by the deadline.

We look forward to welcoming you back to campus!

Important Information

Plan ahead with key details on parking, logistics, and local accommodations.

Dartmouth College parking guidelines are in effect Monday through Friday, 6 a.m.–5 p.m. During that time, valid permits are required to park in all campus lots except Dewey Lot. Dewey Lot is located at the north end of campus near the Geisel School of Medicine. Alumni Relations and Dartmouth College are not responsible for any tickets incurred.

  • "No Parking" signs are posted around campus and are expected to be adhered to for safety reasons.
  • Town of Hanover parking meters are in effect during Reunion; it is possible to get a ticket if not adhering to parking regulations. You can download the ParkMobile app to pay for parking around Hanover.
  • There is no scheduled transportation between area hotels and campus.
  • Taxis and rideshare services are not readily available in the Upper Valley, so please plan accordingly.

While we think staying in the residence halls is a lot of fun, we understand if you need different accommodations. We encourage you to make a hotel reservation as soon as possible. Dartmouth does not hold hotel blocks (at the Hanover Inn or elsewhere) for Reunions, but your class may. Check with them before booking an area hotel.

This information is intended to serve as a guide to many area accommodations and does not represent a recommendation by Dartmouth.

We understand that work or other life events may arise, causing your plans to change. Dartmouth College’s Reunion cancellation policy is as follows:

  • June Reunions: Refunds will be managed by the  Alumni Help Desk (603-646-3202) until May 18.  After May 18 you must contact your class directly.  Please see your class cancellation policy, which can be found in your Reunion confirmation email.
  • July Reunions: Full refunds will be offered through July 7, minus a $25 administrative fee. A 50% refund will be available between July 8 and 18. Beginning July 19, refunds will not be available.
  • Please contact the Alumni Help Desk at 603-646-3202 to request a refund.

If you've already registered but need to add a guest or make changes, use the link in your confirmation email to update your registration.

July Classes: There will be limited programming for toddler-aged children only. Childcare is available through Sitter Scout, a contracted agency, for July reunions only. To request childcare, please submit an online registration form by July 1st, 2026. If you are a new or returning customer with Sitter Scout, please select “Dartmouth Reunion Registration” when prompted to select the services you are interested in.

Greek Reunion Gatherings

Reunions are a great chance to revisit your chapter house and reconnect with the memories you made there. To help make it a positive experience for everyone, including the students who live there now, here are a few things to keep in mind before you visit.

Register first!

Please complete the Alumni Gatherings form by the applicable deadline below:

  • June Reunions: Submit by 5 p.m. Eastern on June 1
  • July Reunions: Submit by 5 p.m. Eastern on July 10

Only registered events are permitted during the term, and registration helps current students know when to expect you on campus.

Be a considerate guest

The Office of Greek Life and Student Societies (GLASS) has developed community standards that we expect all members to adhere to while on campus. Students are living in these spaces. Respect their privacy, wrap up at your registered end time, and leave the space as you found it. Please also note the following event limits:

  • Events may last no longer than four hours.
  • All events must end by 1 a.m.
  • A $250 cleanup fee may be charged if additional cleaning is required after your event.

Closed houses are off-limits

Do not enter any house or restricted area that has not been registered. This is a serious policy violation and may have legal consequences.

Keep it safe and respectful

Be mindful of the space and the people in it, treat the house and its contents with care, keep things at a reasonable level, and make responsible choices, including with alcohol.

With a little planning, these visits can be meaningful for both you and current members. If you have questions, please reach out to the GLASS office.

We look forward to welcoming you back to campus!
