Americans wonder about the vitality of democracy in the United States, but is there cause for alarm? After thirty years of studying and searching for answers, Director of the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy Jason Barabas '93 returns to Dartmouth with a new perspective, some data-driven empirical results, and a research agenda.

Self-guided visit. Free tickets will be distributed in numbered groups of ten. Groups will take the tour in order of their group number. Each tour will take approximately 10 minutes to ascend, take in the beautiful views, and descend. Each person must be able to navigate many steep steps and a ladder on his/her own.

In conversation with Howard Gilman ’44 Executive Director of the Hopkins Center for the Arts Mary Lou Aleskie, playwright Celeste Jennings ’18 will discuss the creation of her play Citrus, which she developed during her time as a student. Jennings will speak on her personal experience with the arts at Dartmouth, and Aleskie will look toward the future of the Hopkins Center, which is currently undergoing renovations.
