Licensing Program for Reunion Souvenirs

Many classes create souvenirs for classmates to commemorate their reunion. If you choose to use the Dartmouth branding such as wordmarks or logos for your reunion souvenirs, you’ll need to follow the guidelines of the trademark licensing program administered by the Office of the General Counsel. We recommend that you use a trained graphic designer who is familiar with the use of branding guidelines. For access to the Dartmouth marks, please contact the Volunteer Engagement team.

Trademark Licensing Program

Dartmouth’s licensing program (NetID and password required to access) ensures that products bearing the College marks are of high quality and good taste, and further promote Dartmouth's reputation as one of the nation's finest Ivy League institutions.

Prior written permission is needed from the trademark office for use of the College name and/or marks for anything other than official college business. This also applies to departments, student groups and organizations – including Dartmouth classes – that wish to make use of the College name in conjunction with their group or activities, or those groups desiring use of the College's identifying marks.

Approved Vendors

Dartmouth College is a member of two organizations dedicated to combating abusive labor practices and protecting the rights of workers who make insignia merchandise and other products. Use the Approved Licensed Re-sellers List (NetID and password required to access) to identify vendors who comply with Dartmouth’s requirements.

For further information about the use of the College's trademarks or licensing, please contact the Office of the General Counsel's Licensing Office at (603) 646-1729 or email trademarks@dartmouth.edu.
