There’s nothing like a little physical activity to bring your classmates together and help them work up an appetite for dinner at the class tent. Dartmouth and the Upper Valley offer a multitude of great options for recreation. All Reunion attendees can use the indoor athletic facilities—including the pool and the fitness center—throughout the Reunion, and the Recreation Chair can help organize a specific activity for the class.

Boating

The Ledyard Canoe Club offers hourly canoe and kayak rentals. They also rent out Titcomb Cabin, a 10-person cabin on Gilman Island, about a mile downriver from the club. Please contact them directly to book a group outing.

The Dartmouth boat house can also arrange for a “Reunion Row” with the crew boats. Please contact the College to book this event.

Tennis

Outdoor tennis courts can be reserved at no cost through the College. Please specify how many and which courts you would like to book, as well as the date and time. In case of inclement weather, the Boss Tennis Center is available for a low hourly fee.

Dartmouth Out O'Doors

Every Reunion class can gather at Moosilauke Ravine Lodge the day before their on-campus Reunion to enjoy a leisurely day hike and an evening reception at the lodge. To book this or any other outdoors adventure, please contact the Dartmouth Outing Club directly.

Other Sports

Rentals for basketballs, softballs, and other athletic equipment are free and can be arranged by contacting the Physical Education and Recreation department. For weekend activities, equipment must be picked up by 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Our outdoor fields and other athletic spaces may be available for softball tournaments, ice skating, and other activities. Please contact us for more details.
