Join alumni and professor Dale Turner as you explore magnificent Native American art at the Seattle Art Museum in the exhibition Indigenous Beauty: Masterworks of American Indian Art from the Diker Collection. The exhibition, which includes acquisitions never before seen by the public, will feature more than 100 pieces representing tribes across North America.

Associate professor of government and of Native American Studies, Dale Turner is the author of This Is Not a Peace Pipe: Towards a Critical Indigenous Philosophy. He teaches courses including Indigenous Politics, Modern Political Thought, and Wittgenstein and Political Philosophy. A citizen of the Temagami First Nation in northern Ontario, Canada, Turner has recently undertaken a project photographing indigenous elders.
