This winter, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the novel Waiting for Robert Capa by Susana Fortes, translated beautifully from the Spanish by Adriana Lopez. This fictional account of the work and love story of Robert Capa and Gerda Taro during the Spanish Civil War is poetic and gripping.
