Hitch 22
Richard Wright, Orvil E. Dryfoos Professor of Public Affairs and Geography
Topic

This book is more a scholarly memoir than autobiography, as Hitchens reveals little about his everyday life, marriages, and children. He does tell us a lot about where he comes from, what makes him tick, and what ticks him off. Hitchens is self-promoting, self-deprecating, insightful, stubborn, patrician, radical, righteous, and a unique voice. The book also provides a huge reading list, as Hitchens recounts the intellectual influences that have shaped his life.
