Gather with fellow alumni and friends and cheer on Abbey D’Agostino ’14, one of the most decorated athletes in Ivy League history, as the senior competes in her final race for Dartmouth on June 14, 2014. Upon qualification, D’Agostino will run the 5,000-meters in the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the University of Oregon.

Scheduled to begin at 6:24 ET, the race at the University of Oregon will be broadcast live on ESPNU and online at ESPN3. The event should last about 15 minutes. Dartmouth’s Alumni Relations Office is encouraging alumni and other fans to support D’Agostino and share photos of themselves in Dartmouth gear via social media using the #RunwithAbbey hashtag.

D’Agostino has won an individual NCAA championship seven times. In the fall of 2013, she won the NCAA Cross Country National Championship—the first Ivy League athlete, male or female, to do so. This time last year, she appeared on the cover of Running Times.

A psychology major, D’Agostino has been named a “Scholar Athlete of the Year” five times by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

“D’Agostino’s peers say she’s the consummate teammate, focused on their successes and improvement, psyching them up before big races and workouts with emails that range from funny to inspirational.” -  “Out of Nowhere,” by Dartmouth Alumni Magazine

“This was my last cross-country race running for Dartmouth. I know I couldn’t have done it without my team here. To have those girls right there on the line—there’s nothing to worry about.”  - Video interview (above) with D’Agostino following her 2013 national championship win in cross-country
