Dartmouth Class Officers Weekend 2009 brought 277 alumni class volunteers to Hanover on September 25–26 for meetings on organizational best practices; training on a broadcast email tool, social media, and other communication tools; a review of reunions; and other topics. The officers also heard presentations by President Jim Yong Kim, Dean Carol Folt, English professor Barbara Kreiger, computational science professor Hany Farid, and music professor Michael Casey. At dinner, Michael McClintock '80, president of the Class Officers Association, recognized the classes and officers of the year for 2008–09.
