Discover the Imperial cities of Rabat, Meknes, Fez, Marrakech. Enjoy a private Sahara sunset excursion and camel ride. Explore the sacred town of Moulay Idress, ancient ruins of Volubilis and the scenic "Route of a Thousand Kasbahs." Visit the dramatic 984-foot Todra Gorge, home to a variety of rare plant and bird species and view the spectacular Atlas Mountain scenery. Explore Essaouira's Phoenician, Berber, Portuguese, Jewish, and French past in the well-preserved architecture, souks, marketplaces, harbor, famous whitewashed homes and artisans' workshops. In the Ourika Valley we'll visit a typical Berber village and enjoy mint tea in the home of a local family. Then we tour storied Casablanca, a sophisticated city combining French and Moroccan influences, and discover the Grand Mosque of Hassan II, the world's second largest Islamic house of worship and the country's only functioning mosque that is open to non-Muslims. All along the way, experience outstanding accommodations and cuisine!
