Special Recognition for Class Connections Giving Back Book
written with members of the Class of 2014
Fifty-seven members of the Class of 1964 and 34 members of the Class of 2014 each wrote essays on the importance of volunteerism and giving back for Generational Bridges to the World's Troubles: Personal Stories: How Dartmouth '64s and '14s are making a difference in the lives of others.
Weighing in at an impressive 601 pages, the book also features special stories by former president Jim Yong Kim '82a, president emeritus James Wright '64a and former dean of the College Thaddeus Seymour '49a.
A publication party for the book was enjoyed by all authors during a Hanover-based 1964 sophomore summer mini-reunion that included the Class Connections Etiquette Dinner, a joint 1964-14 Ledyard Canoe Club painting project, and a dinner where student and alumni authors shared their personal insights on volunteerism.
