In Pursuit of Excellence

Dartmouth College Recognizes with Deep Appreciation the Extraordinary Achievements of the

CLASS OF 2005

2016 Special Recognition for Its “Social Good” Approach to Strengthening Its Class and Communities

The Class of 2005 is to be congratulated and recognized for its thoughtful implementation of a strategy to foster social good across the Class, between the Class and the College, and within its individual communities.

This triple quest is being realized through dedication of time, talent, and seed funding for young entrepreneurs.

The Class of 2005 executive committee includes two dedicated Class Service Coordinators who work with Dartmouth and the Class mini-reunion chairs to organize service opportunities for classmates during Alumni Day of Service.

The youngest class to establish an endowment at Dartmouth, the Class of 2005 made a $50,000 gift to support student entrepreneurs who have a viable business plan and demonstrate initial traction to “do social good and make the world a better place.”

Doing social good has become a part of the Class of 2005’s culture and Dartmouth is pleased to recognize the class for its outstanding contributions to Dartmouth and society.
