Brett Gamboa
Professor of English

Celebrate the 450th anniversary of the birth of William Shakespeare with a weekend at the 300-seat Blackfriars Playhouse, a marvelous recreation of Shakespeare’s original indoor London playhouse. During this multi-faceted program, Brett Gamboa (pictured), Dartmouth professor of English, will lead participants through a literary and theatrical labyrinth of plots, language, and themes.

Ralph Alan Cohen ’67, cofounder of the American Shakespeare Center and director of mission at Blackfriars Playhouse, will be on hand to provide participants with an up-close perspective on this premier venue. Join us for an informative and enjoyable weekend of theater, scholarship, and camaraderie!

Dartmouth has reserved the best seats in the theater and will make assignments based on registration date and number in your party.
