Still Alice, by Lisa Genova, was recommended to me by an alum, Alison Mountz '95. In this novel, a renowned psychology professor falls victim to early-onset Alzheimer's. The story is told in the first person and tracks the relentless progression of this awful disease from the point when Alice can't find her Blackberry through the wrecking of her professional life and the upending of family relations, to what can only be described as a cliff-hanger ending.
