The Dartmouth Association of Alumni has launched an online blog to facilitate and encourage open communications and debate among alumni. The blog can be found at http://dartmouthaoa.blogspot.com.

'The blog was created so that all alumni can freely discuss the issues that are important to them in a public, transparent fashion,' said Al Collins '53, president of the association. 'A blog' which is short for weblog' is essentially an interactive web site that allows you to read and respond to commentary in real time. I urge everyone to visit the site and join the conversation.'

The eleven members of the association executive committee will share the role of blogmaster. They can be reached directly via live email links from the site or through readers' posted comments.

All 65,000 Dartmouth alumni are members of the Association of Alumni, which was founded in 1854.
