8. Sugar Maple
Near Baker Library, sugar maples throw an arch of color over pedestrians on College Street. As a student, Christina Hoe '02 helped start, as part of her senior project, a tradition of taking first-year students on a tour of campus trees. When she was freshman, she says, her first "impression was that Dartmouth was cozy. Everything seemed held in a loving embrace by the trees." next |
